Speaker 1:

Welcome to Leadership Sovereignty the Podcast. In this final episode with NDRECO we discuss celebrating milestones is essential to motivation, how personal and professional growth requires a Shift in Mindset and then Draco's new guide Leveraging Relationships for Success. That's real good. So that brings to mind to me is you guys know I'm a huge sports dad. Deion Sanders, man, I tell people Dion Sanders is our Martin Luther King today.

Speaker 1:

Because to your point, Andrico, no one envisioned him being where he is today in the path that he took. He created his own path and so I think things culminated this year in a way that really solidified the belief he had in himself and his vision with the young man Travis Hunter, right? People said that kid was making the worst mistake to follow Dion when he went to the HBCU. Now, what? Two years later, this guy has the creme de la creme, right?

Speaker 1:

The top honored award in all of college football. To your point, every pundit, every sports, they're like this kid's making a terrible mistake. Well, you look at it now. I was listening to him do an interview the other day and he was talking about NIL deals. And essentially he's got the top two kids in all America with the highest NIL deals.

Speaker 1:

It's his son and this kid Travis Hunter. So again to Endreco's point, You're gonna have people telling you no, what you're thinking that it's not going to happen that way. And you have to believe enough in your God given talents and dreams and ability and partner with people who can help bring that to pass. Dion didn't do it all by itself. He brought in friends, he brought in people who would trust the vision, who believed in his idea and his concepts.

Speaker 1:

And essentially, he's writing his own ticket today. I just think that's just an example of when you are intentional and you partner with the right people and you're listening to folks who are going to support your vision.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think that's key of having those individuals around you. And that's something that he did. If you look at Dionne Sanders or Coach Prime,

Speaker 3:

I apologize. Coach.

Speaker 1:

That's right.

Speaker 3:

Coach prime. If you look

Speaker 2:

at what, if you look at where he started, like in the very beginning when he was a player and then you look at where he is now, would you have thought back then that he would be here now? And the answer is no, but I bet you, if

Speaker 3:

you ask him, who cares? Who cares what you thought back then? Right. It doesn't matter. What matters is

Speaker 2:

where you're going. Right. What matters is what you want to accomplish and, and, and putting that into place. So again, it's not about where you start. It's about where you finish.

Speaker 2:

You'll learn a whole lot along

Speaker 3:

the way about yourself. You'll learn things about others. You'll learn things about the world

Speaker 2:

along the way. But as long as you're moving down that path, a positive path, an honorable path, right. You will be okay when it's, you know, when it's all said and done. To your point to put, having others around you that genuinely want

Speaker 3:

to see you succeed,

Speaker 2:

You gotta put that team together, right around you. And there may be some people around you that you might need to get off the team, right? Because they don't, they don't genuinely want you to succeed. Maybe the, the, the capacity in which, you have a relationship with them just needs to change a tad bit. Like this is, this is just not the team that they need to be on right now.

Speaker 2:

Right. You know, for, you know, for whatever reason, I'm a firm believer in just not my father told me this. He was, he said, don't burn bridges because you never know when you might need to go back across And so I just might not need to use this bridge at this, at this point in time. Right? My path may be, you know, maybe somewhere else.

Speaker 2:

Right? So, so you can, you can kind of set some people or some habits or whatever it is to the side for now because you need that team. You need those others around you that are going to be champions of you, that want to genuinely want to see you be successful. Your success is their success. That like, that's the way that you do it.

Speaker 2:

As far as, you know, having a team, you know, together and then you got to thank them. Right. Right. Once it's all good done, got to thank them because you all did it, you know, as a

Speaker 3:

team. That's good.

Speaker 1:

Great, great, great content today. Fantastic. Man, we're gonna eat a while on this. And Draco, just so we circle back around, let's talk about the guide again and where people can get it and how soon it's gonna be available.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So what part part what part do you want

Speaker 1:

me to just have first? Yeah. Yeah. Just no. Just so how people can get it and when it's gonna be out and what dates and stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

How soon will it be available?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Is this coming out? They will hear this podcast, I'm assuming, in 2025, Yes.

Speaker 1:

So this is going to air. This is gonna air, I think the first one is gonna be the third, I think.

Speaker 3:

The first week in January?

Speaker 2:

First week in Okay. Yeah. So the guide will be available 01/01/2025.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

So it'll be available in paperback on, Amazon. So you can go find it on Amazon, leveraging relationships for success on Amazon. And then you can also get the digital download or the ebook from my website, andricospates.com. So, you know, two, two different versions, depending upon how you like to consume content, how you like to consume information. And like I said, the the the guide is really just it's really really the journey starting from the map all the way through, you know, getting that initial plan set up for you to to to be able to take action.

Speaker 2:

It's it's comprehensive yet concise. K? I'm a firm believer in just getting people the information that they need to take action. So it is really concise just for that reason. Now there's a lot more that, you know, I can, you know, can go into, you know, you know, in the future, you know, dig in deeper, have conversations about, but it's really like what is it really going to take for you to be able to take those next steps?

Speaker 2:

What is it gonna take for you to start to think about this differently? Because that's the first the first step. You have to think about this differently. You have to kind of rewire your mind and then you have to assess your own situation. Like, hey, where am I today?

Speaker 2:

How am I doing any of these things? How do I view relationships? Right? How how do I view networking? Right?

Speaker 2:

You know, what what is my outcome? Like, what what am I even trying to do? So you have to kinda understand and assess those areas before you can start to look at, hey, what okay, tools are out there? Right? What tools are out there for me to use to get there?

Speaker 2:

What individuals do I need to surround myself with to be able to get there? And when I look at this guide, again, the guide is for both the professional growth, but also personal growth. Whether you're starting a career, whether you're advancing in your career, whether you're starting a business, or whether you need to take your business to the next level. All of these things have the same foundational level of items that you need to do. It's just the context is just slightly different.

Speaker 2:

Right? So I'll I'll I'll give one example if I can. Mhmm. I'll give one one example. I'll take something like an internship.

Speaker 2:

If you look at an internship, an internship is a fantastic way for you as an individual, if you're an intern, to get pretty much everything, you can get some experience, right? You can learn, you get some education with it. You also get some exposure in there as well, because people will be able to see your skills and your benefit and the value that you bring to the table. So, so from a professional perspective, an internship is a great way if, depending upon where you are right in your journey that it can, you know, that you can leverage, right, to grow. You'll build some great relationships with individuals if you, again, if your intentions are there just by doing something like an internship.

Speaker 2:

However, if you look at it from the opposite side, if I am a entrepreneur, a small business, an internship can help me as well. It's that value exchange. I bring on an intern because my value is I give you the opportunity to exercise those skill sets. Right? I give you the opportunity to learn more, right?

Speaker 2:

To get exposed, to get exposure out there to show that you've, that you've done what it is that, that, that you do. Right? So if we look at these things like from both sides, internship is not just about, you know, you as an individual getting, you know, some experience and getting some value, but the business can also get that right, depending upon, you know, depending upon where they are, especially, you know, small businesses, entrepreneurs, when, when, there may be some constraints right on personnel, there may be some constraints on, you know, from a cashflow perspective. Right. Being able to look at these things and say, Hey, I might need to use this this way or use, you know, some different tools.

Speaker 2:

So, so depend upon again, where you are and the angle that you're coming from when you're reading the guide, these things still apply and can help you be successful.

Speaker 3:

That's fantastic.

Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Yes, fantastic. No, that's awesome. Andrico, man, I cannot thank you enough for joining us today. Man, this is I cannot wait for this to air and, man, I don't know, Ralph, any closing, any closing, statements?
